Terms of use
DigDog is free and made by one person in their spare time. These terms are short because there isn't much to say: use it, enjoy it, and don't rely on it for anything critical.

What DigDog is
A web app for browsing and analysing a Discogs record collection. It signs in with your Discogs account, reads your collection and wantlist, and keeps a copy in your own browser so it can be searched and charted quickly. Using it means accepting what's on this page.
DigDog is an independent project, and nothing about it should be read as coming from Discogs. Their API Terms of Use require the following notice, which is reproduced word for word:

You need a Discogs account
There is no DigDog account — you sign in with Discogs, and everything DigDog shows you comes from there. Your relationship with Discogs is governed by their terms, and their rules about your data and their data still apply when you view it here. If your Discogs account goes away, so does your access to DigDog.
Because Discogs requires its own account to sign up, DigDog doesn't run a separate age check. If you're not old enough for a Discogs account, you're not old enough for this.
Reasonable use
Use DigDog for its purpose: looking at your own record collection. Please don't use it as a way to bulk-harvest Discogs data, don't try to break it or get at other people's data, and don't automate it in ways that would put load on Discogs' API that they haven't agreed to. DigDog paces its own requests carefully and working around that spoils it for everyone.
It might break
This is a spare-time project, so things change, features come and go, and there will be bugs. I don't promise any level of availability, and I might take DigDog offline for maintenance, or permanently, without much notice. It also depends entirely on the Discogs API — if that changes or goes away, parts of DigDog stop working and there may be nothing I can do about it.
Because your data lives in your browser, clearing your site data deletes it. Anything from Discogs can be downloaded again, but your notes and target prices exist only on your own device. Exporting them from Settings occasionally is genuinely worth doing — see the privacy page for how storage works.
No warranty, and limits
DigDog is provided as-is, with no warranties of any kind. In particular, the collection values and marketplace prices it shows come from Discogs and are estimates — they aren't an appraisal, they aren't financial advice, and you shouldn't make a buying, selling or insurance decision on them alone.
To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss arising from using DigDog — including lost data, missed price alerts, or decisions made on figures it displayed. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, and none of it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes, and the legal bit
These terms may change; the date at the top tells you when they last did, and continuing to use DigDog means accepting the current version. They're governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts.
